Dynamic Conference Calls


In today’s diverse business environment, people inevitably participate in numerous meetings and conference calls.  This workshop will develop and enhance your capacity and skills to facilitate and participate effectively in conference calls and meetings.

Workshop Content

This workshop is a half-day interactive and experiential session presenting tools and processes providing new insights and skills into the dynamics of meetings and conference calls.  In addition, two shadow coaching opportunities are offered to the group.

Who Should Participate

This workshop will benefit people at any level of the organization.  Whether they are leading a call or meeting or participating in one, their skills and effectiveness will be enhanced.

Workshop Objectives

  • Understand the dynamics of conference calls and meetings
  • Learn and practice call management techniques
  • Engage in a group practice session with feedback
  • To provide “just in time” feedback in a “real” call or meeting

During the Facilitation Workshop participants will:

  • Experience practical, useful, powerful tools and processes with specific applications for each of them.
  • Identify personal styles of engagement.
  • Participate in practice sessions to begin integrating new skills.

The Facilitation Workshop Agenda

9:00 – 11:45 – Understanding the dynamics of conference calls and meetings, including styles of engagement and communications skills; call management techniques, including etiquette, protocol, preparation and follow-up.

11:45 – 12:15 – Lunch

12:15 – 1:30 – Group call practice session and feedback

After the completion of the workshop, the group is offered two opportunities to have the coach/presenter join a live conference call and offer “just in time” feedback.

Cost

Fees include half day workshop and two follow-up conference call shadow coaching sessions
